Product Description

A Paithani is never just a saree – it is heritage you wear. This piece brings that heritage to your wardrobe. This piece comes in Rust & Blue. Warm orange tones bring energy and festivity, glowing beautifully in natural light.

The story behind the weave

Paithani takes its name from Paithan, an ancient town on the banks of the Godavari in Maharashtra, where this weave has been practised for some two thousand years. Patronised by the Satavahana rulers and later treasured by the Peshwas, the Paithani is famous for its peacock (mor) and lotus motifs and its richly woven zari pallu – and it is still the saree Maharashtrian brides cherish most.

Why you'll love it

  • Rich silk drape with graceful fall
  • Ideal for weddings, festivals and pujas
